California - Due to a new California state judicial opinion which legalized same sex marriage - Just last week a bride-to-be , hoping to sign her marriage license on the "bride" signature line, was told that it was her tough luck and that she would have to sign as an "applicant" or not get married! The new California judicial opinion regarding same sex marriage has changed the content of the marriage license itself - it has become more gender neutral. A heterosexual couple wanting to sign their marriage license as a "groom" and a "bride" will no longer have that right! The bride's
signature line is now relegated to "applicant one or two", so is that of the groom's!
